Edinboro’s Doctor of Nursing Practice degree prepares advanced practice nurses for rising standards in the field. The online, part-time program offers specialty electives in advanced clinical practice and clinical nursing education. The Clarion and Edinboro Universities’ DNP Program is a 27-credit online program that offers students the opportunity to advance their skills and education through the study of leadership, policy, population health, and clinical practice. Students will have the opportunity to develop a doctoral research project in collaboration with DNP faculty. Courses can be taken part-time over 5-6 semesters in an online format. Students will be admitted in cohorts of 27 and begin courses in May of each year. The program is designed to be flexible, affordable and professionally rewarding. The online, part-time structure accommodates employment as an advanced practice nurse while pursuing the DNP, thus easing the financial burden.
